About Us

My name is Keyton Bearinger, I'm 18 years old.  I began my skating career in August, 2011 after a friend introduced me to the sport.  Never skating before this, I took a great interest and my coaches found I had a natural ability.  In September 2012, we moved my training down to the Detroit Skating Club (DSC) in Bloomfield Hills, MI.  That year, I was fortunate enough to make it to Nationals in Boston, MA (Jan. 2014) and placed 10th in the Nation.  In 2015, my partner and I took 3rd place at Nationals and in 2016, my new partner, Isabelle,  and I took 4th place at Nationals.  Prior to moving my training to DSC, I danced for 8 years at the Dean/Black Dance School in Midland.

My partner is Isabelle Goldstein, she is 14 years old and we have been skating together since the end of April, 2015.  The Detroit Skating Club (DSC) is her home rink. She has skated competitively since she was 6 years old. She has also danced since age 3, competitively from age 6-11 and trains now in classical ballet.

Practice

I practice 3-4 hours a day, Mondays through Fridays, along with weight training, ballet classes, running and off-ice training.

Skating Costs

Figure skating is the 2nd most expensive sport (next to horseback riding).

Fundraising/Donations

I feel it is important to let people know how important their investments are in me.  I provide updates to all my investors so they are able to follow my progress.
